Toru Takamura

Lead Associate

Toru Takamura joined Honda Motor Co., Ltd. in 2011, initially working on mold design for automotive plastic parts. Over the years, he gained experience in production technology, including the development of new technologies and support for their implementation in mass production. At the end of 2021, he was seconded to Honda Innovations Silicon Valley for two years, where he conducted research on the technical competitiveness of startups and planned strategic collaborations with various business divisions. He is currently seconded to Honda Innovations Inc., where he is part of the Project Management team. In this role, he drives new investment proposal deals and supports strategic collaborations following investments.
