Tommy Takabu began his career at a major electronics manufacturer, where he worked in semiconductor sales and marketing for the North American market. After that, he joined a fabless semiconductor company in Silicon Valley, managing accounts for the Japanese market. Later, at a large industrial control equipment manufacturer, he was involved in new business development, M&A, and CVC activities within the business development and innovation promotion divisions. During this time, he also served as the CEO of a CVC subsidiary. He joined Honda Innovations Co., Ltd. as a Director in April 2025 and has served as Chief Venturing Officer since April 2026.
