Naoki Ishihara

Naoki Ishihara joined Honda Motor Co., Ltd. in 2011, where he was primarily responsible for production planning and strategy development for hybrid vehicle powertrains, specifically inverters and motors. Afterward, he contributed to alliance collaborations focused on fuel cell systems and hydrogen production. His role also included new factory planning, production planning, covering both product and manufacturing process planning, as well as supplier quality managemenet. Since 2024, he has been involved in CVC activities at Honda Motor Co., Ltd. His focus has been on open innovation initiatives with startups, preparing investment proposals, advancing deals including DD and contract execution, and monitoring post-investment performance to drive value creation.
