Honda Xcelerator Ventures\u00a0 is proud to share that Enedym Inc., a Canadian technology company specializing in next-generation switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive systems, has secured an investment from Honda Motor Co., Ltd.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Enedym\u2019s SRM technology eliminates the need for permanent magnets and rare earth metals, addressing the cost and sustainability challenges of conventional electric motors. The new investment will help accelerate the development of Enedym\u2019s patented motor designs and scale its operations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Headquartered at McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton, Ontario, Enedym holds ownership of over 70 patents and related inventions developed by Dr. Ali Emadi and his research group at McMaster University. The company\u2019s advanced SRM configurations and digital motor design platform enable efficient, powerful, and scalable electric motors at a fraction of traditional development time and cost.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
