Honda Xcelerator Ventures portfolio company SiLC Technologies has announced a significant expansion of its Monrovia headquarters, growing its total facility size by approximately 30% to more than 30,000 square feet. The new space enhances SiLC\u2019s advanced manufacturing capabilities and reinforces its position as a trusted U.S.-based supplier of high-performance vision systems.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

SiLC\u2019s expanded facility integrates design, assembly, testing, and shipping under one roof\u2014enabling faster innovation cycles, greater production scalability, and full domestic control for key markets such as perimeter security, robotics, automation, and government applications.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cThis setup accelerates the transition from wafers to concept demonstrators to final products in weeks,\u201d said Mehdi Asghari, CEO of SiLC Technologies, \u201cwhile providing a reliable domestic source for high-performance vision solutions and addressing a critical gap in U.S. manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The new Monrovia facility also supports SiLC\u2019s Factory Automation Pilot Line, which shortens the path from R&D to production for robotics and automation customers. Additionally, SiLC can now provide fully U.S.-based production for government and defense programs requiring domestic manufacturing\u2014strengthening supply chain resilience and enabling faster, more agile innovation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Beyond manufacturing, SiLC continues to invest in the Southern California tech ecosystem, collaborating with local innovation groups and academic institutions to foster the next generation of engineers and scientists.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
